The challenge
Learning corners in pre-primary and primary schools ran on planning boards with cards and clothes pegs. Teachers walked around counting who was where, struggled to enforce rules such as maximum occupancy or mandatory corners, and had no record afterwards of which pupil had visited which corner. Existing tools required pupil accounts and passwords, unusable for children who cannot read yet.
Our solution
We built SchoolWise as a multi-tenant SaaS platform for schools and classes. Teachers compose corners from ten categories, save combinations as templates and plan their week in advance. Pupils join on a tablet with a four-digit session PIN and their own symbol: no accounts, no email addresses, no passwords. The platform enforces the rules automatically (maximum occupancy, mandatory corners first, minimum play time), shows live occupancy on the teacher's screen and can be paused with one click for break time. Afterwards, an overview per pupil supports observations and parent meetings. Realtime updates run over Mercure and Turbo Streams; schools take out a licence per class or per school, with payments through Mollie.
The result
SchoolWise is offered per class or per school and was built together with teachers. Live occupancy replaces counting in the classroom, the rules are enforced automatically and pupil privacy is guaranteed by a design without accounts. The platform runs on the same proven Symfony and PostgreSQL foundation as our other SaaS products, with strict separation between schools.
